Stroller

We made one of final purchases today! We have purchased a stroller for our little one. After months of debating and me changing my mind everyday, we have found one we love. Thanks to some tips from some people with experience in strollers. So many people have said that they did not like what they had originally bought, so I wanted to find something that I hope to love for years. The awesome thing about this stroller is that it comes with a booster, so when we have another child we can still use this stroller. I like to plan ahead. This stroller folds up with one pull and is easy to do with only one hand, bonus! I hope to love it in years to come as much as I love it today:)

A Handy Man!!

What are the benefits of marring a handy man? Well there are plenty but this week it was something that put a smile on my face. He fixed my iron. So back in the fall, yes probably 6 months ago, I dropped my iron and broke it. All I know is that it would not longer hold water. Errr I was so upset, and just could not justify buying a new iron so I made due. Then one day he plugged it in and said, "I fixed it, it can hold water again." Oh I was so happy:) Although he might not be the quickest Mr.Fix it, he sure does it right when he gets around to it. I think those are the best gifts in life, the ones that cost nothing but mean everything.

This week i did not do much quilting. Well I made some little receiving blankets. Two of them are below. Love the material.

I also restrained from buying any material this weekend. A local quilt shop had a clear out sale of $5 a meter and I soooo wanted to go. But I held back since I already have more material that can fit in my home. This was hard for me, but I am proud of myself.

Apron Part 2

So for Melissa's Birthday this past November I had made her a beautiful Apron. This was my first apron and it took me about 5 hours to make. I really liked the material and wish I had a picture somewhere, thought I did but can not find it. Anyways I brought it to Vegas to give to her and she left it there......... I got over it and decided to make her a new one. Although this one can not really compare to the other one and it was made from a kit it is still really nice. It is reversible and the material is a bit more modern. Now if she happens to loose this one I will take the hint! lol

I bought another kit so that I can make one for myself too, I'll post it once I make it. Also on my list of things to do, I have had a ton of progress. I finished my Halloween quilt, 5 months later. I also pinned Melissa and Jason's wedding quilt and it is ready to sew. Hopefully this week will have great progress.
